Gliffy/Mind mapping Assignment
Assignment Title: Gliffy/Mind Mapping Assignment
Uses in the Classroom: Teachers can use a mind mapping software tool to take information and arrange it in a two-dimensional format. By using this format, the relationships between information, people, influences, etc. can be more easily shown. Having students create their own Gliffy web item forces them to research and learn the connections and relationships between different ideas and information. Students will then evaluate, analyze, apply, and create. This helps in understanding and remembering.
Issues to Consider: When creating a Gliffy web item images add to the overall aesthetic and increase comprehension and understand. If teachers and students do not use their own original images, it is important to understand and not violate copyright laws.
